1908:
The First London Games
This circus-inspired production is supported by Jacksons Lane
and is a contemporary reimagining of stories and characters
from London’s first Games in 1908. It is one of four
flagship projects commissioned by the Creative Campus Initiative
(CCI)*, and awarded an "Inspire" Mark project as
endorsed by LOCOG.

1908:
The First London Games is a cross art form production
integrating Circus skills and dialogue to tell the story which
celebrates the idiosyncrasies of the first Olympians and aims
to fuse sport and circus. The production will tour the South
East with performances in Jacksons Lane, Greenwich and the
O2 in 2012.

The initiative links the University of Brighton with the production
to assist in research and to develop a hypersonic auditory
soundtrack integrated into the performance.
